The Air Jordan 3 Retro SE-T Denim “Fire Red” is part of Jordan Brand’s revival of “Concept Japan,” an initiative from the late ‘90s and early 2000s that featured special, limited edition colorways made exclusively for Japan. Jordan Brand’s commitment to Co.Jp in 2020 includes bringing back once-rare silhouettes like the Air Jordan 1 Co.Jp “Metallic Silver” while introducing new designs like this denim accented “Fire Red” colorway. Like the original “Fire Red” Jordan 3, this remixed look features a white tumbled leather base. Fiery red perforated leather appears on the collar. The model’s signature elephant print leather detailing on the toe, eyelets, and heel is replaced with denim. Additional alterations include translucent branding on the heel, which swaps “Nike Air” with text that translates to the slogan in Japanese. Differing from the version of this colorway that released globally on August 27, 2020, this edition with the Japanese characters on the heel logo released only in Japan. Embroidered red Jumpman detailing is located on the white leather tongue. A black sock liner and visible Air window in the heel finish off the look of this desirable colorway of Michael Jordan’s third signature shoe. Release date: August 7, 2020.
