The Air Jordan 1 High “Meant to Fly” is a Fall 2019 release that is inspired by an early advertisement for Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. Jordan, in the mid-80s video campaign, can be seen taking off in slow motion from a playground black-top as jet engine noises swirl in the background. While flushing home a sweet dunk, the narrator of the video can be heard saying “Who said man was not meant to fly?” The colorway riffs on the warm up suit Jordan wore during the spot. Premium white leather covers the mid-panel and perforated toe. Buttery black leather overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. A black Swoosh logo graces the mid-panel and a tonal Wings logo resides on the collar. Red trimming outlines each panel of the upper to complete the look. The Air Jordan 1 High “Meant to Fly” was released on November 29, 2019.
