Furthering their collaborative portfolio the Stray Rats x New Balance 991 Black Grey Purple arrives flaunting a dark aesthetic with bags of attitude. Made from primarily mesh that drapes the black base of this trainer that achieves breathability while staying lightweight and flexible. The rest of this shoe's upper composition deployed suede overlays surrounding the entirety of the base in black and grey offering slight contrast to the overall design. The only true impactful change in colour however comes from the purple detailing that acts as this shoe's signature element, appearing on the shoe via “Stray” embroidery on the toe tips, as well as the OG, slanted ‘N’ logo on the sides. Beyond this, the traditional New Balance monikers remain, grounding this new release in the brand's now iconic vintage-esq vibe.
