Fans of the Jumpman brand will be well aware of the historical significance of the Nike Air Jordan 6 Infrared, and once again the much-loved high top is making a comeback, and in February 2019 you'll all be able to get a look at the revamped Jordan Infrared 6 2019 at the NBA All-Star Weekend. A living legend that was first worn by Michael Jordan as he took down the Los Angeles Lakers for his first of six Championships in 1991, this shoe has become synonymous with the Air Jordan 6 silhouette as the shapes flagship and most sought after colourway. Designed by Tinker Hatfield sporting a mostly black nubuck construction with bright hits of red (to which the Infrared name originates) on the midsole, tongue, and heel. Since its initial 1991 release in conjunction with the big win for the Chicago Bulls this shoe has been granted a vast array of re-releases, revamps and revivals. This 2019 Jordan Retro 6 Infrared addition is true to the pair's roots, switching from the Jumpman logo at the heel and insole favoured in the 2014 version, back to the original “Nike Air” branding for that even more significant hit of nostalgia.
